Jednym z istotnych elementów opieki farmaceutycznej może być zbieranie informacji o działaniach niepożądanych produktów leczniczych. Farmaceuta ma obowiązek raportowania działań niepożądanych do właściwych organów. Przegląd literatury dostarcza dowodów, że dotychczasowa aktywność farmaceutów w tym obszarze jest niewystarczająca. Należy oczekiwać badań z obszaru tej tematyki wśród polskich farmaceutów.

The role of the pharmacist and place pharmacies in monitoring the safety of pharmacotherapy as a challenge for public health

One of the essential elements of the pharmaceutical care may be collecting information about the adverse reactions from medicinal products. The pharmacist has a responsibility to report adverse events to the competent authorities. Review of the literature provides evidence that the current activity of the pharmacists in this area is insufficient in Poland. The study from this section of pharmaceutical science should be desired and considered prospectively among Polish pharmacists.
